What's Blooming?

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we all run outside as soon as the Spring sunshine returns. I kid you not! All winter we are one of the most dormant group of people I have ever encountered anywhere on the planet (ok, I’ve never been to Alaska). As soon as Spring hits, people jump into their shorts and sandals as if it’s in the 70’s and the thermometer barely reads 60 degrees! Bbbbbrrrr!

It’s a peculiar and wonderful affair we have with the sun! Maybe this explains my current inability to settle myself down to write to you! Or maybe it’s because I’ve fallen in love with songwriting and that’s all I really want to do, or because I can barely settle my giddiness over my news enough to write it down or because……well, you can put in your own reason!

I have so many things I want to share with you!

Want To Be My Scene Partner?

I’ve recently returned from my rehearsal with my director in LA and many things have been decided upon!

We are doing a workshop in Seattle of Nothing Ever Goes On Here! YEAH! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am about this! I hope you will come and be a part of the final steps of our creation! Help me with the final stage of our creation before we open in LA. In essence, you will be my scene partner, my FIRST live audience. I’ll be working out things like my nerves, timing or any other things we may need to fine-tune before a live audience! So, please come, and help me with the final trimmings of the show.

The good news: you have no lines to memorize! Just have to come and be you! We will be workshopping the solo show on September 14 and 15. Mark your calendars! The specific venue will shortly be revealed.

Woodstock, then LA!

The first week in October we have a scheduled performance in Woodstock. Do you live nearby? Then come to that performance! Or tell your friends! Venue and tickets available soon…so stay tuned!

The official LA Opening is November 15 through the 19! If you live in or near LA, I’d love, love for you to be at the open….and even if you don’t….make it a weekend affair and come anyway! You will love the LA sunshine in November!
